Learner
permit requirement for Florida teens:
You must complete the drug and alcohol class.
Sign
up now and
take the class ONLINE for just
$34.95.
Part of your Florida learner permit requirement
is that you must complete the 4-hour State-approved
drug
and alcohol class. We have great news for you —
you can now take the course online right
here! If you're ready to begin the process of getting
your first Florida
driver license, this is the place to start.
Another part of your learner permit requirement
is that you must pass the road signs and road rules
test. This test is also called the driver license test
or learner
permit test. The test questions are drawn from the
Florida
Drivers Handbook, which you must study thoroughly
in order to get your Florida driver license. You will
be asked to pass 20 road rules questions and 20 road
signs questions.
After you finish the drug and alcohol class, you will
be given the option to sign up for your online driver
license test. Just pay the test fee and you will be
given immediate access to the 40-question exam. By taking
your test online, you will not have to wait in line
at a Florida license office.
How old does a first time driver have to be to take
the Florida drug and alcohol course and driver license
test?
You can take your Florida
drug and alcohol course and driver license test
before you turn 15. Keep in mind that you must be 15
years of age in order to apply for your learner permit.
You cannot take the online driver license test if you
are 18 or older, and you cannot take it online if you
take the drug and alcohol course in a classroom.
