The Florida drivers handbook contains critical information that you must know before you take your driving learner permit test (road signs and road rules test). This is the 20-question road signs and road rules test that you must pass in order to be eligible for a Florida Driver License.

Florida state law requires that you complete the learners permit course and road rules and road signs tests before a Florida license will be issued to you. The learners permit course discusses the dangers of drugs and alcohol for drivers, especially teen drivers. You'll find our video-based approach to be much more interesting than other courses that are all reading.

When you are done taking the drug and alcohol (learner permit online course) and studying the Florida driver handbook, you can attempt your Class E Test at a Florida driver license office in your vicinity.

Who is not required to complete the learners permit test? 1) Any person who has been issued a valid driver license in another state; 2) Any person who has been issued a valid State of Florida driver license; or 3) Any person who has been issued a valid driver license from a country that is approved by the Florida DHSMV.
