Classroom Locations for the Florida Learners Permit Course


The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles requires that every Florida first time driver* complete a 4-hour Florida learners permit course before receiving a Florida driver license. This course is also sometimes called a drug and alcohol course, a Traffic Law Substance Abuse Education (TLSAE) course, or the START course.
